The music world has gone mad. At the same time as stories of the new BBC building in central London being over-budget, we hear that BBC6 Music and Asian Network, alternative radio oases in a desert of dreary manufactured pop, are set to close due to cost-cutting measures to claw back £600 million, in addition to cutting back almost half its website online.
