Official Save 6 Music campaign’s awareness-raising event this Wednesday 10th March at Proud Camden! Over 150,000 fans have joined the Facebook group in the last week, and bands including Kitty Daisy and Lewis, Master Shortie, Ali Love and The Holloways will be playing in support of such a great cause, with more acts to be announced.
Be at Proud on a Saturday night is a tough gig for any band. The band are not the focus of the evening, meaning you’re dealing with an audience getting progressively drunker with little more desire than to hear four to the floor and get dancing.

With only one album under their belt this talented Swedish band is striving past all expectations, and with this confident performance, an extensive UK and US tour already booked, and hopefully some 2010 festival appearances, I’m sure this won’t be the last we hear from Miike Snow!

Liars’ latest album Sisterworld is set for release on 8th March 2010. The American trio’s ridiculously-anticipated fifth album sees Scissor as its first single release on 15th February. AAANNND! A live show on 27th May in Shepherds Bush!
Initially released on Portishead’s Geoff Barrow’s Invada label (under the band’s old name Malakai) last year, the 13 track album will be preceded by the band’s debut radio single for Double Six ‘Snowflake’, which is set for release a week earlier on 12 April.
